Thank you for your reply Coolburn, it's very useful! Regarding your latest point, I'm planning to leave Yosemite through Mono Pass, not through Donohue Pass. From Mono Pass I was thinking to head toward Koip Peak Pass, then to Gem Lake and finally to rejoin JMT around Garnet Lake.
