WOW -- looks great! I love it when the little tufts of snow start gathering in all the nooks and crannies (used to drive my dad nuts that I loved to slam my open hand onto the build-up on the cars so that I could make a cool deep hand print) Bby Bee - General Discussion
Vince :>>Would this mean no more cell phones in the Valley<< I can answer that one with some "authority" : absolutely NOT!!! The police, rangers, fire dept. are all dependent on the cell tower system (you were just kidding, right?) Bby Bee - General Discussion

Vince: >>I hear from Mount Rose on a nice day you can see Mount Shasta,<< Sometimes in late winter, there are times when you get atmospheric conditions that magnify the horizon, so you can see Lassen or Shasta from the Northern Sierra foothills. As far as 200 mi vis at Grand Canyon, the best chance of that is after a cold winter storm when the chaser winds blow everything out. Bby Bee - General Discussion

YPW:>>They designed it with less plastic and a smaller label. They do have a noticeable thinness to the walls.<< Ah, YES (I can be a bit obtuse at times) I had actually thought that the thinner, collapsable walls were a result of trying to cut back on production costs. I am pleased to read that it was a result of environmental pursuits. >>The water got crusty on everything. Iby Bee - General Discussion

Thanks for the heads up on the article; I vaguely remember this fiasco when it occurred.
