QuoteitchbayYou could drive through Foresta? I've driven through Foresta itself (but starting from Big Meadow). My wife & I hiked quite a ways down the Foresta Road (to beyond the Crane Creek & Little Crane Creek Falls below Foresta Falls) last May and I can tell you that you'd need a pretty high clearance vehicle to drive it. Quotechick-on Quoteeeek Is this from the Four Mile Trail? Yes sir Well, in 1901, it would be the old alignment of the Four Mile Trail (when it really was 4 miles long). It was rebuilt in 1929 to it's current length of 4.7 miles. I'm not sure how different the two alignments are and it's a few years since I hiked up the Trail but I don't recall anything quite so "close to the edge" oby DavidK42 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. These are REALLY cool! I'd forgotten about this site. I used to check the time-lapse stuff there on a regular basis and then, IIRC, they had a fairly extended problem with the web-site (or maybe I had an extended problem with my computer) and I got out of the habit of checking in on the site. Never had brunch at the Ahwahnee but my wife and I generally have dinner there about once a year. We used to like it VERY much and maybe it was just an off-night but last time we were there (May, 2010), the service was much poorer than we were used to (not substandard but substandard for a place like that) and the food, while quite good, wasn't up to their usual standards. Quotey_p_w As for the original questions.... 1) All your food should go into a bear box. Hi Hotrod, Correct me if I'm mis-reading it but it sounds like your comments are based on the Curry tent cabins. Do you have a sense of how different the WW tent cabins are?
