Hmmm... I think somewhere there must have been confusion. After many miles on trail, I could see how a hungry look and a statement like "Chick-On lookin' real good to me right now" could be misconstrued.by 2HalfHitches - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Chick-on, remember when you, me and Old Dude went to Loch Tablae starting at H Hetchy-Rancheria-Stinky Foot Creek and over Rancheria Mountain? Although the glory of starting at White Wolf and going that insanely difficult route is worth considering, I would think the group on this hike would become a lynch mob.by 2HalfHitches - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. I proposed to my wife in the Grand Canyon of the Tuolomne, up river a bit from Pate Valley. Old Dude and Chick-on were present. Chick-on has a photo somewhere. I wanted to propose at Benson but let's just say the conditions weren't right. The ring? I used the ringed cap of a MWR fuel bottle. Good times.by 2HalfHitches - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. I believe I spotted Chick-on at this petting zoo on 9/17. He can't be in Yosemite ALL of the time. Can he? Note: Corrected your links. You need to use the URL of the photo, not that of the page where it appears.by 2HalfHitches - General Discussion
Nice tail feathers and all but Chick-On has got to be admiring the view, not the photographer. Trust me on that issue.by 2HalfHitches - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Nice trip. I noticed Chick-On doesn't turn his back on the photographer. Trust issues?by 2HalfHitches - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
