If you can manage a ride back, I think Mineral King to Mount Whitney to Whitney Portal would be the one to do. Plus lots of vacation days, which I've never had enough of.

A friend is talking about day hiking Onion Valley to Kings Canyon. If he does it, I'm going to be doing a lot of driving that day.
