ScienceDaily (Jan. 24, 2012) — Valentines Day is upon us and there is no better way to say "forever" than with the gift of a cockroach.

I've never like the flavor of cockroaches. Crickets taste much better, especiall when fried in a little butter and garlic.

Cockroach sauteed with a good olive oil that has been infused with leeks and herb de provence is beyond description.

Close in flavor but dental floss is not needed after the cockroach.

There's nothing that I've seen that gets rid of that cockroach odor when they're cooked. I wonder if the grubs would be better?

I suppose a chocolate roach would be edible. But eating cidadas every 17 years in Chicago is great. They taste just like nuts. The wings are a bit troublesome though.
