Re: BEAR BOX AT GARDISKY LAKE TRAILHEAD

Are there any bear boxes at the Gardisky Lake trailhead off saddlebag lake road (2 miles east of tioga pass)? Or are there any public ones nearby? Obviously the campsites (ellery, junction, sawmill, saddlebag) have one, but are there any public ones nearby? The ranger wasnt 100% sure. Also, dumb question, my bear box is 33x45x18. Well, my cooler is literally 18.5, so I guess it wont fit, right? Not worth risking I suppose...

I could take the screws/lid off if need be, so coolers fine, but how about the bear box at Gardisky?

Yeah they were there, ran up to Gardisky/Tioga peak. Just odd that whoever manages the email for that resort is unaware of them. Thanks again
