Managed to capture a photo of Yosemite's rarest flightless bird...
August 17, 2014 10:50PM

Dunno how he got up this without flying:

Since it was such a rare sighting, I tried to follow / track the bird over the course of 3.5 days:

Pretty sure he was either totally lost, or had lost his mind...

But I saw some cool stuff trying to keep up with him:

Camped up there

Neither, the pizza was imported from the Bay Area.

You must have eaten it on the first night? How long can pizza stay fresh out there?

It's good for about 24 hours. After that it gets soggy though you could probably toast it in the foil on a stove. I ordered that slice at lunch earlier that same day.

Just amazed that you got anyone from the Bay Area to deliver pizza up to Mt. Starr King. How much did you tip the guy?

This photo is too epic looking.........like a superhero surveying his domain.

Therefore, I figured a cape was needed.
