I would write more, but I'm supposed to be asleep for an early start tomorrow, so keeping this short...

Gorgeous! Always love it when the dark nebula is visible in the Milky Way!

Missed being in backcountry, but had fun camping.

Turned out one Bay Area 13-year old had never seen the Milky Way in the sky her whole life! We sent her and her mother out for a peek one night! She loved it!

So sad to hear so many people can't really even see stars where they live...

Anyway, love Chick-on's silhouette!!

I'd be interested in your technique for taking a panorama pic of stars. You almost have to use a tripod with a rotator ? I certainly couldn't do it hand held due to the relatively long exposure times....
