Andrew Skurka has a lot of information on his site about sensible lightweight backpacking. And there is a community called Backpacking LIght that really gets into it.

And we have some suggestions on our site, too!

Can you elaborate? Do you want to understand the philosophy and general approach, benefits, specific equipment choices, food, hiking style, etc?

As Balzaccom said, this site (https://backpackinglight.com/forums/) is an active forum focused on the topic, and many here glad to help as well. Being more specific with your questions can allow us to better answer you.

I second Andrew Skurka’s website and Ultimate Hiker book as excellent resources. I am relatively new as well and he has been very helpful as a resource.

I’ve been reading the following site since they started and paid for the lifetime subscription. Sometimes they go beyond, but lots of good advice, especially if you start by reading their main articles and primers.

And if you are just getting started, this is where I send folks first.
