...COLDER AND WETTER WEATHER LATE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK
FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER STORM MID WEEK...

A COLD FRONT WILL BRING SIGNIFICANTLY COLDER TEMPERATURES AND
SHOWERY PRECIPITATION TO INTERIOR CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SUNDAY NIGHT
THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT. SNOW LEVELS MAY LOWER TO NEAR 1500 FEET ON
MONDAY OVER THE SIERRA FOOTHILLS NEAR MARIPOSA AND CLOSER TO 4000
FEET OVER THE KERN COUNTY MOUNTAINS. THESE SNOW LEVELS MAY AFFECT
ROADWAY HEADING INTO THE SIERRA NEVADA AND ACROSS THE KERN COUNTY
MOUNTAINS. WHILE THERE MAY BE A BRIEF BREAK IN BETWEEN SYSTEMS
LATE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY BEFORE A MUCH WARMER STORM SYSTEM
ARRIVES WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY VALLEY AND
MOUNTAIN RAINFALL AND SIGNIFICANT MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL. SNOW LEVELS
MAY RISE TO AROUND 6000 FEET WITH THE SECOND STORM.

THERE REMAINS A FAIR AMOUNT OF UNCERTAINTY IN THE TRACK AND THE
AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION WITH THESE SYSTEMS.

PLEASE MONITOR THE LATEST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST FOR
UPDATES TO THE CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS.
