Direct from NPS:

The body of missing hiker Timothy Nolan was spotted by park visitors on the afternoon of September 15 in the park's backcountry. Unfortunately, he was found deceased. Yosemite National Park Rangers had been searching extensively for him since he was reported overdue from his hike. The large scale search effort included utilizing ground teams, dog teams, and the park helicopter. Nolan was scheduled to complete his hike on September 9. The investigation is ongoing at this time and no further details are available. The park extends its condolences to the family and friends of Timothy Nolan.
