Snowmelt in...
Southern Mono County in northern California...

* Until 900 PM PDT Friday

* Well above average temperatures through the rest of the week will
lead to continued above normal high elevation snowmelt. This
snowmelt produce minor flooding along creeks and streams in the
advisory area through the middle of the week.

* Rangers from Inyo National Forest report minor flooding in some
campgrounds in southern Mono County. Flooding from streams
draining the Eastern Sierra tend to be highest during the late

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated. Be alert
if camping or hiking near streams as they are running fast and cold.
Most stream flows peak during the night or early morning hours so
