I found them listed somewhere else, and cut and pasted it in. I didn't check each campground/campsite, but I noticed some sites are missing from the Lower Pines list.by PineCone - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Quotemtn man Quoteyoser As stated above, often it has nothing to do with the size of the parking pad, and more to do with maneuverability. I know there are entire loops in North and Lower Pines that large rigs cannot make the turn down, yet the pads are large enough.... Very true. Yes, very true. Quotemtn man Still working on trying to get Lower Pines dimensions onto a post similar to the way Pinecone did it. Will probably have to get my daughter to help me with it. Stay tuned..... Quotemtn man Great! Thanks for posting that. Do you have the same for North Pines and Lower Pines? Sorry, I don't. I'm a tent camper, so the only thing I have to worry about is "will my SUV fit on the parking pad?" QuoteJayabrams Good Topic! Stick with the basic Coleman Stove!!!! I wish I had a picture of my beat-up, green Coleman camp stove. It's vintage 1980's and has a nice crust of meals past that have been burnt into its inner skin. Some call it gross, I call it seasoned. The stove has been through hell and fires up every time. I see several comments about putting the grill in the bear box. If you're concerned about someone stealing it from your site while you're gone all day, that's one thing (although I've never had a grill stolen either for that matter). If you're thinking a bear might be attracted to it, that should not be a concern. I've never had any problem with a bear or raccoon showing any interest in a grilby PineCone - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
I've heard good things about the Weber-Q. We used a Weber Smokey Joe (the small size) charcoal kettle grill for dinners until about 5 years ago. While staying in Upper Pines in the Fall, an older German couple on their dream retirement vacation thru the American West for a few weeks (and driving a large rental RV) left behind a full-sized Kingsford charcoal kettle grill that they had bought hby PineCone - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Now you've got me wondering what does the interior of the remodeled store look like? I read where they spent a lot of $ on it, does it look any different inside? Thanks for the camping report, I enjoyed reading it. I agree with many of the groceries (and beer) being reasonably priced, not so much the firewood and ice.
