So much to see on your link. Really like the views of the Cathedral range. Can even see what chick-on called the Dolly Domes. Can even see the cascade between them. Great video of the cascade on this old link. http://yosemitenews.info/forum/read.php?3,39233,39273#msg-39273 Here's a view of one of the domes from the north in this old video.by yosemitejim - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Great job Jason. Thanks for the effort on this report, especially scanning the old pictures. My first trip to Yosemite was about the same time. I got there at night and didn't even see the valley. I could barely make out the silhouette of half dome in the darkness. I saw a sign for the mist trail the next day and thought that sounded cool. It was after Labor Day, and the falls were barely gby yosemitejim - Backpacking and Hiking Yosemite and the Sierra
The north side is the classic view. The south side has nice views that are a little bit different from what you usually see. Both sides are pretty easy to get to. Just need to be careful on wet steep rocks when it is blasting. Usually get a good rainbow a few hours before sunset.by yosemitejim - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

Here is a video looking down to the un-named dome from Mariuolumne in summer. Hey chick-on, have you gone through the pass from south west of Upper Cathedral Lake to the saddle west of Tressidder Peak? Looks do-able on Google Earth, but video looks like it could be pretty steep getting over the saddle.by yosemitejim - Backpacking and Hiking Yosemite and the Sierra
