You are so lucky to live that close! With a pregnant wife, I would stick to the valley trails as mentioned. They can be wonderful in winter! Leave your car at (long live!) Curry Village and walk all the way to the visitor's center and back. Then park at the Visitor's center and walk to Bridalveil falls and back. You can do those in a day, but my choice would be to linger and do one a day. You canby hotrod4x5 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

I want to know what fool at the US Trademark and Patent office granted the trademarks in the first place? It's ironic that a government entity granted them the names, now the government is upset about it.by hotrod4x5 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion
Quoteparklover Quotehotrod4x5 I'm amazed that the government didn't already own all those names, particularly the historic ones like Wawona and Ahwahnee. If what the DNC says is true, that they had to purchase trademarks owned by the previous company (Yosemite Camp and Curry?) then why not make Aramark do the same? I feel like the govt. dropped the ball and should just buy the damn names anby hotrod4x5 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. News & Discussion

I've been aware of Dean for at least ten years. I was once a big arm chair fan of rock climbing and he was one of the greatest. There are probably hundreds of videos online of him doing what he loved. Whether that was free soloing (no ropes at all, only hands and feet for upward movement), speed climbing (using hands and direct aid to get up as fast as he could) or typical free climbing (ropes foby hotrod4x5 - Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. QuoteTorero14 Does AT&T truly have better coverage, or are there simply more Verizon users using bandwidth which reduces coverage quality? I really don't know anything about this stuff--but in March, when not many people were in the park I had perfect service all the way to the top of Clouds Rest.
